PSA extended its estimated turnaround windows from 45 business days to 95 business days. The result is a persistent backlog that forces collectors to wait longer and ties up capital.

The card grading industry is inefficiently run, relying on manual workflows, fragmented quality control, and inconsistent standards that slow throughput and create rework. Status updates and service timelines regularly drift from reality, and scaling typically means adding more people instead of improving the process. The result is higher costs, longer waits, and an inconsistent customer experience.
